ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar has departed for Cairo, the capital of Egypt, where he will participate in a foreign ministers’ meeting comprising Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and Egypt.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Ishaq Dar will represent Pakistan at the fourth meeting of the “R4 Group” of foreign ministers in Cairo, where discussions will focus on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts on the sidelines of the conference.

In addition, Ishaq Dar is expected to meet Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, where talks will cover Pakistan–Egypt relations, the regional situation, and ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation.
It is worth noting that the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and Egypt have decided to hold an important meeting on regional security in Cairo.
