ANKARA: Renowned Turkish actress Ece Ertem, widely recognized for her role as “Işıl” in the popular drama series One Love, has passed away at the age of 35.
Her sudden demise has left her fans and the entertainment fraternity in deep shock.
According to Turkish media reports, Ertem was found unconscious at her home on Monday afternoon.
She was with her mother when she faced a sudden medical emergency. Despite immediate attempts to provide medical assistance, she could not be revived.
Her lawyer, Uğur Gökkoyun, stated that preliminary medical assessments suspect a heart attack as the cause of death.
However, an official investigation is underway, and the final cause will be determined after the autopsy report is released.
The lawyer also strictly refuted rumors circulating on social media that claimed the actress’s death was a suicide.
Heartbreakingly, Ertem had celebrated her 35th birthday just a day before her sudden passing.
