LONDON :The Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) team has emerged victorious in the annual international military competition held at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, defeating 16 other teams, the military’s media wing said.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the nine-member Pakistani contingent, led by Major Haider Gulzar, achieved a historic victory, bringing Pakistan global recognition.
The ISPR stated that the Pakistani team arrived in the United Kingdom on June 5 and secured first place by demonstrating high professional skills, excellent training, and exceptional dedication in the highly competitive event.
The success is being described as a manifestation of the Pakistan Army’s high training standards, professionalism, and outstanding performance at the global level, the ISPR added.
The victory, which raised the flag of Pakistan at Sandhurst, once again highlighted the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Army and its prominent position in international military competitions, according to the military’s media wing.
