WASHINGTON: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, held an important meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington, where both sides agreed to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, security, and counterterrorism.
The meeting focused on Pakistan-US relations, regional developments, and ways to enhance mutual cooperation in areas of shared interest.
During the discussions, both leaders expressed satisfaction over the positive progress in bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United States. They also exchanged views on the regional and global situation, focusing on the importance of continued engagement and cooperation to address common challenges.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio appreciated Pakistan’s sincere diplomatic and mediation efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond.
