ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products across the country. According to the Ministry of Petroleum, the decision was finalized and made public following formal approval from the Prime Minister.
Under the new pricing structure, the price of petrol has been slashed by 6 rupees per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by 6 rupees and 80 paisaer per liter. The price cuts are aimed at providing financial relief to the inflation-weary public.
