KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a massive surge, recording an increase of Rs. 5,000 per tola.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, this sharp hike has pushed the price of per tola gold to an all-time high of Rs. 475,362.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs. 4,287, bringing its new market value to Rs. 407,546.
This domestic spike aligns with a substantial increase in the international market, where gold prices jumped by $50 to reach $4,530 per ounce.
