ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with his Uzbek counterpart Bakhtiyor Saidov on Saturday, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The statement, shared on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ X account, said the two leaders exchanged views on bilateral and multilateral matters of mutual interest, including Pakistan-Uzbekistan relations and regional developments.

Foreign Minister Saidov also appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in mediating for regional peace and security. Both sides agreed to remain in close contact.
