PTI’s Bazai Slams DC Quetta for Sending Him a Girl’s Number

ISLAMABAD:  A unusual exchange unfolded in the National Assembly on [Date of Session, if known, otherwise omit], as PTI-backed Member of National Assembly from Quetta, Adil Khan Bazai, made a startling claim involving a senior government official in his constituency.

During a session chaired by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Mr. Bazai revealed that the Deputy Commissioner of Quetta allegedly sent him a girl’s phone number and instructed him to meet with her. The statement drew visible surprise from members across the aisle.

“The Deputy Commissioner Quetta sent me a girl’s number and asked me to meet her,” Adil Khan Bazai stated from the floor of the house.

He elaborated that when he questioned the DC about the request, the official responded by saying, “She is your big fan, meet her.”

The PTI lawmaker then directly addressed the chair, raising a pointed question about the scope of the Deputy Commissioner’s duties. “I want to ask the House,” Mr. Bazai said, “when did the job of the Deputy Commissioner become to give out girls’ numbers and ask for meetings?”

The Speaker has not yet issued a formal ruling on the matter. There has been no immediate response from the Deputy Commissioner of Quetta or the government regarding the allegations made on the assembly floor.
