PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi Arrives in Dhaka for Talks on Asia Cup 2027

DHAKA: Mohsin Naqvi, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, arrived in the Bangladeshi capital on a one-day visit on Friday amid growing preparations for the Asia Cup 2027.

According to media reports, Naqvi is scheduled to hold meetings with officials of the Bangladesh Cricket Board to discuss matters related to the upcoming Asia Cup and bilateral cricket cooperation.

Sources said the PCB chairman will also meet former Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal, who currently heads the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s ad-hoc committee.

The two sides are expected to discuss preparations for the 2027 Asia Cup, which is set to be hosted by Bangladesh, along with other administrative and cricket-related matters.

During his visit, Naqvi will also watch the opening day’s play of the first Test between Pakistan national cricket team and Bangladesh national cricket team in Dhaka.
