ISLAMABAD: A devastating accident occurred at a private school located on Jampur Road in Dera Ghazi Khan, where a roof collapse tragically claimed the lives of four people.
Rescue officials confirmed that the bodies have been recovered from the debris following the sudden structural failure.
According to emergency responders, nine individuals have been rescued alive so far as rescue operations continue at a high intensity.
The school administration has raised concerns that more children may still be trapped beneath the wreckage.
Immediately following the collapse, police, rescue teams, and local citizens mobilized to assist in the relief efforts, and the injured are being transported to nearby hospitals for urgent medical care.
Local authorities have officially launched an investigation to identify the causes of the collapse and determine if there was any negligence involved.
