ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has provided relief to low-consumption solar users by removing the licensing requirement.
According to details, NEPRA has abolished the license condition for consumers using solar systems below 25 kW capacity.
The decision was made after a hearing on a request submitted by the Power Division.
A formal notification has also been issued, confirming that users with small-scale solar installations will no longer need a license.
