Rawalpindi: Barani University has been closed until April 26, with an official notification issued.
According to the notification, the university’s main campus will remain closed till April 26 due to security reasons.
All academic activities will continue online.
Students have been directed to immediately vacate their hostel rooms.
Faculty and staff members have also been instructed to work from home.
Meanwhile, the International Islamic University Islamabad has announced that all classes will be held online from April 20 to 24.
Mid-term examinations scheduled for April 20 and 21 have been postponed.
On the other hand, Islamabad district administration has clarified that no orders have been issued to close shops or bus terminals so far.
If any such orders are issued, prior notice will be given to the public.
