Iran and US acknowledge Pakistan’s mediation efforts

ISLAMABAD: The senior international figures have expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s constructive and positive role in facilitating diplomatic engagement and dialogue.

As far as the statement issues from JD Vance extended special thanks to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for their efforts in supporting the process.

In this regard, JD Vance noted that Pakistan played an important and effective role in advancing negotiations, describing the country’s contribution as both meaningful and impactful.

He further stated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir proved to be gracious and capable hosts throughout the process. He focused on that the leadership demonstrated professionalism and dedication, which helped create an environment conducive to constructive engagement.

Meanwhile, on the diplomatic front, the spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaeil Baghaei, also praised Pakistan’s role in supporting efforts related to the Iran ceasefire discussions.

He expressed heartfelt gratitude to Pakistan for its sincere and continuous efforts in helping make the negotiations successful.
