Afghan Refugees Continue Mass Return from Pakistan

Quetta: The process of dignified repatriation of Afghan refugees to their homeland is continuing across Pakistan, with hundreds of Afghan citizens returning daily through the Chaman border.

According to NADRA sources, 500 to 600 Afghans are reaching the Chaman holding camp every day, where their registration process is being completed.

Temporary shelters have also been set up at the camp to provide facilities to the returning refugees.

Authorities report that more than 2.168 million Afghan refugees have returned to Afghanistan so far.

Meanwhile, the returning Afghan refugees expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s long-term hospitality.

They acknowledged that Pakistan and its people have always supported them and fulfilled the rights of hosting guests for decades.

They said they have no complaints against Pakistan and praised the country for demonstrating great humanitarianism and generosity by hosting millions of Afghans.
