QUETTA: Unknown terrorists attacked a Motorway Police camp in the Khanozai area of Balochistan, but officers on duty foiled the assault by retaliating in a timely manner, authorities said. No casualties were reported.
According to police officials, the attack occurred on the Motorway Police camp located in Khanozai, N-50 Sector, Qila Saifullah Bat 1. The officers on duty responded vigorously, forcing the terrorists to flee the scene.
A Motorway Police spokesperson confirmed that upon receiving information about the incident, a large contingent of police and law enforcement officials reached the spot, cordoned off the area, and launched an operation. Search efforts are underway to track down the attackers.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
