Renowned company announces increase in motorcycle prices

United Auto Industries (Private) Limited has officially announced an increase in the prices of its motorcycles, citing rising production costs and economic pressures as the primary reasons behind the decision.

In this regard, as per the notification issued by the company, the efforts had been made to maintain price stability despite persistent inflationary trends.

However, the latest surge in fuel prices and the escalating cost of raw materials have made it increasingly difficult for the company to sustain existing rates.

The company clarified that the price adjustments will vary across different motorcycle models. In this sense, under the new pricing structure, the cost of 70cc and 100cc motorcycles will increase by Rs. 3,000, while 125cc models will see a higher increase of Rs. 5,000.

These revised prices will come into effect from April 11, 2026, and will be applicable to all new bookings made from that date onward.

The latest increase may further reinforce this trend, particularly among middle- and lower-income consumers who rely heavily on motorcycles for daily commuting.

The company’s announcement indicates broader challenges faced by manufacturers operating in a volatile economic environment. Increasing import costs, currency depreciation, and higher energy prices have collectively contributed to mounting production expenses across the sector.
