QUETTA : The Balochistan Bar Council has called for a complete boycott of all courts across the province on April 6 to protest rising inflation, particularly the recent increase in petroleum product prices.
In an official statement, the Bar Council said that the surge in fuel prices has exacerbated the financial difficulties faced by the public. The council demanded that the government take immediate steps to provide relief to the people.
Officials confirmed that a complete strike will be observed in all courts throughout Balochistan on the designated day, with lawyers boycotting all judicial proceedings.
The Bar Council further clarified that legal professionals must participate in the strike to strengthen the public voice against inflation. No exceptions to the boycott have been announced.
It remains unclear whether any emergency or urgent cases will be heard during the strike.
