KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan surged sharply, tracking gains in the international market.
The All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association said the price of gold per tola rose by PK 15,300, pushing it above PK 494,000.
The price of 10 grams of gold increased by PK 13,117 to reach PK 423,578.
In the global market, gold prices rose by $153 per ounce, reaching $4,713.
