Iran’s Supreme Leader supports talks with US

TEHRAN: Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has expressed support for negotiations with the United States.

According to Al Arabiya TV, the Supreme Leader has backed talks with America, despite Iranian officials previously rejecting any negotiations following statements by US President Donald Trump.

It is worth noting that President Trump recently claimed that talks between the US and Iran are ongoing and that a final agreement could be reached soon.

International media reports also suggest that a meeting between Iranian and American officials will be held in Islamabad to facilitate the negotiations.

This development has significantly increased Pakistan’s diplomatic importance in the ongoing conflict.
