RAWALPINDI : Field Marshal Asim Munir, along with all service chiefs, issued a special message to the nation on Saturday, extending heartfelt greetings on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military leadership emphasized that Eid embodies the enduring values of unity, compassion, and gratitude. According to the military’s media wing, the true spirit of the festival lies in the service and defense of the beloved homeland.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson highlighted that soldiers are ensuring the nation’s peace and security while stationed away from their own families. The military paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of the brave men and women who have defended Pakistan.
“We pray that Eid brings peace and prosperity to Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah,” the statement added.
Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated with religious fervor across the country today. Thousands of Eid congregations, both large and small, are being held in cities and towns nationwide, where special prayers are being offered for the security, progress, and prosperity of the country and the Muslim Ummah.
