GWADAR: The Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Coast Guards have foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of contraband in the Pishukan area of Balochistan, authorities said.
The operation was conducted in coordination with the Joint Maritime Information and Coordination Centre (JMICC).
Authorities seized a sizeable quantity of liquor and illegal medicines during the operation.
The confiscated items were handed over to the Pakistan Coast Guards for further legal action.
The operation reflects coordination among Pakistan’s maritime security agencies to prevent smuggling and other illicit activities along the country’s coast.
