Operation Ghazab Lil Haq Will Continue Until Targets Achieved: Security Sources

RAWALPINDI: Operation Ghazab Lil Haq will continue until its objectives are achieved in Afghanistan, security sources said, as operations against militant elements along the border intensify.

According to the sources, actions are being carried out by the Pakistan Armed Forces in the Bajaur District and Kurram District sectors under the operation. Meanwhile, Pakistan Air Force carried out airstrikes in Kabul and Nangarhar Province, targeting drone assembly workshops.

As per details, in the Bajaur sector, several posts located near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border were destroyed during retaliatory strikes.

Guided missiles were also used to target positions across the border, according to the sources. The actions were said to be aimed at eliminating militant networks and their facilitators operating in border areas.

In the Kurram sector, key hideouts linked to militant groups were also targeted. Several positions were destroyed during the strikes, while multiple fighters were reported killed and others fled the area.

Security officials said the operation would continue until militant infrastructure along the border is dismantled and the region is cleared of armed elements.

The Pakistan Air Force carried out airstrikes in Kabul and Nangarhar Province, targeting drone assembly workshops, intelligence sources said on Monday.

All six facilities-four in Kabul and two in Nangarhar- were used to assemble drones from foreign components and were being used against Pakistan.
Multiple explosions and the sound of airstrikes were reported in Kabul late on Monday, according to local sources.
