RAWALPINDI: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the General Headquarters (GHQ), where the military leadership provided him with a detailed briefing on the current Pakistan-Afghanistan situation.
The Prime Minister directed that zero tolerance be adopted toward the collusion between Fitna al-Khawarij and the Afghan Taliban regime as well as their subversive activities.
He stated that the actions of the Afghan Taliban regime and Fitna al-Khawarij against Pakistan are unacceptable.
The Prime Minister affirmed that under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, the Pakistan Armed Forces stand fully prepared at all times to safeguard the country.
He emphasized that Pakistan is well-equipped to defend itself against any aggression.
The Prime Minister commended the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Armed Forces for effectively repelling attacks by the Afghan Taliban regime in border areas and delivering a strong retaliatory response.
He concluded by saying that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Armed Forces in defense of the motherland.
