Gwadar students visit Naval base under ISPR internship

GWADAR: As part of the national training of youth under the ISPR Winter Internship Program, a group of students from Gwadar visited the Gwadar Naval Base and Marine Training Center. The initiative aims to educate young participants on ground realities and the professional workings of the country’s defense institutions.

According to details, the purpose of the visit was to inform the interns about maritime security challenges and the professional responsibilities of the Pakistan Navy. The students were given live sessions and guided tours to enhance their understanding of the naval operations.

The participants lauded the initiative, stating that the organization of such study tours by the ISPR is a highly positive step. “Such programs play a key role in linking book knowledge with practical experience and understanding the capabilities of defense institutions closely,” the students expressed.

In a separate leg of the program, 150 students from different universities in Quetta were also taken to a shooting range and the Pakistan Gallery. The students appreciated the efforts of the ISPR and extended their gratitude to the Pakistan Army. They expressed hope for the continuation of such informative and training programs in the future to better equip the youth with practical exposure.
