QUETTA: Rain and hail are likely across several parts of Pakistan’s southwestern province of Balochistan, including Quetta, on Sunday, the weather department said.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department said a new weather system may enter the province on Sunday. It is expected to bring light rain to Khuzdar, Chagai, Washuk, Surab, Noshki, and Mastung.
Light rain is also forecast for Quetta, Pishin, Chaman, Loralai, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah, and Zhob.
The department said Gwadar, Kech, Panjgur, Khuzdar, Kalat, and Kharan may receive rain accompanied by hailstorms.

It added that light snowfall is possible overnight in the mountainous areas of Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, and Ziarat.
