Search and combing operation continues: Balochistan Government

Quetta: Balochistan Interior Minister Ali Madad Jatak, Special Assistant to the Balochistan Government Shahid Rind, and Chief Secretary (Home) Hamza Shafqat held a joint press conference in Quetta.

They stated that intelligence-based combing and search operations are ongoing across Balochistan. So far, 100 suspected individuals have been arrested.

During these operations, 216 terrorists have been killed.

The officials reported that 36 civilians were martyred (killed) during the course of these operations.

Chief Secretary (Home) Hamza Shafqat confirmed that secondary examinations in Quetta will continue as per schedule without disruption.

Government spokesperson Shahid Rind emphasized that the overall situation in Balochistan, including Quetta, remains normal.

The Noshki highway is expected to be fully cleared within the next 24 hours.

He added that various types of weapons have been recovered during the operations.

The process of identifying the killed terrorists is underway, and action will also be taken against their families.

Train services have been restored starting this evening.

The spokesperson revealed that terrorists carried out attacks at 12 different locations.

Mobile and internet services may face temporary disruptions during ongoing search and combing operations.

All major highways in Balochistan remain open. In Noshki, one road was affected by an explosion.

Internet services in Quetta are expected to be fully restored by this evening.

Search and combing operations continue in Quetta at present. Investigations into the arrested individuals are ongoing.
