Quetta: Renowned Pakistani stunt driver Sultan Muhammad Golden (also known as Sultan Muhammad Khan) has been officially declared the new Guinness World Records holder for two extraordinary reverse-driving achievements.
On 13 December 2025, Sultan attempted and successfully completed two record-breaking feats during a high-profile stunt event in Quetta, Balochistan:
- Fastest mile driven in reverse — completing one mile (approximately 1.6 km) in just 57 seconds, surpassing the previous record.
- Longest reverse ramp jump by car — achieving a distance of 121.72 feet (37.10 meters), breaking the earlier mark of 89 feet 3.25 inches set by American Rob Dyrdek in 2014.
Technical evidence, including video footage, drone recordings, and other verification materials, was submitted to Guinness World Records (GWR) following the event.
GWR has now reviewed and fully accepted the evidence, officially announcing Sultan Muhammad Golden as the new record holder for both categories.
The official Guinness World Records certificates are currently being dispatched and are expected to reach him by 20 February 2026.
This latest success adds to Sultan’s legacy as Pakistan’s premier stunt performer and further cements his reputation on the global stage for pushing the boundaries of reverse-driving stunts.
The achievements drew widespread praise, including from Pakistani officials, and highlight the country’s growing presence in extreme motorsport feats.
