Female Suicide Bomber Among Five Militants Killed in Pasni Operation

PASNI: Pakistani security forces killed five suspected militants, including a female suicide bomber, during an intense exchange of gunfire in the coastal town of Pasni, officials said on Saturday.

Pasni is a coastal town located in Gwadar district of Balochistan.

According to security sources, the clash occurred during an ongoing security operation, in which forces engaged the suspects following actionable intelligence. All five militants were killed after a prolonged firefight.

Officials said security forces demonstrated effective coordination during the operation and have since launched a cleanup and search operation in the surrounding area to eliminate any remaining threats.

No immediate information was available regarding casualties among security personnel. Authorities said further details would be shared after the completion of the operation.

Pakistan has stepped up intelligence-led counterterrorism operations in Balochistan amid concerns over militant activity in the region.

Earlier today, security forces, in coordination with the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), killed four militants associated with Indian proxy during a joint intelligence-based operation on Sariab Road in Quetta, officials said on Saturday.

According to security sources, the operation targeted militants linked to an outlawed group identified by authorities as “Fitna-e-Hindustan.” The suspects were killed following an intense exchange of gunfire, after which the area was secured.
