KARACHI: United Company has revealed an updated price for its United CD 70 motorcycle, which is now being sold in the local market for Rs. 111,000.
The company claims the bike offers solid build quality, reliable urban performance, and competitive pricing.
However, the launch announcement does not mention any upgrades in terms of engineering or mechanical features.
This indicates that the latest version is largely a cosmetic refresh, a common practice among motorcycle manufacturers in Pakistan.
United, widely regarded as one of the country’s leading national brands, and continues to market its 70cc motorcycle as a cost-effective and popular choice among consumers.
The motorcycle is powered by a 4-stroke, overhead cam, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a displacement of 78cc and a compression ratio of 8.1:1.
It is paired with a four-speed gearbox and uses a kick-start system. Braking is handled by mechanical drum brakes on both wheels.
The bike comes with an 8.5-liter fuel tank, requires 0.7 liters of engine oil, and runs on 2.25-17 tyres at the front and 2.50-17 tyres at the rear.
Electrical functions are supported by a 12-volt battery.
Despite being marketed as a new model, the specifications remain unchanged, with updated stickers and graphics appearing to be the only noticeable difference.
