KABUL: Under Indian patronage, the Afghan Taliban regime has begun plunging the region and Afghanistan into a fire of crimes and atrocities.
After international media outlets, Afghan publications themselves have now exposed the severe oppression and extremism of the Taliban regime.
In its report by Hasht-e- Subh daily, on Afghan crimes, it has been stated that due to Indian sponsorship, the Taliban regime has significantly intensified its series of war crimes and brutalities.
The report reveals that so far, 129 former military personnel have been killed across 29 provinces. Similarly, 131 former military personnel have been arrested in 20 provinces.
The report discloses that detained former soldiers have been subjected to torture, including electric shocks, hot iron rods, and steel wires.
It further states that the Taliban regime has conducted most arrests extrajudicially. The report notes that to prevent facts from coming to light, families of these individuals have been threatened with death.
The report also mentions that strict censorship policies are being used to block public opinion from reaching the international community.
It is noteworthy that the United Nations mission providing global aid to Afghanistan has also revealed the Taliban regime’s involvement in grave crimes.
