5 Lac Afghan nationals abroad carry Pakistani Passport

Islamabad: It has been revealed that over 500,000 Afghan nationals have been living abroad using Pakistani passports.

During a session of the Senate Standing Committee on Human Rights, the Interior Secretary disclosed that Afghan citizens have been traveling to countries including Saudi Arabia while presenting themselves as Pakistani nationals.

According to the Interior Ministry, these individuals have been involved in criminal activities, with crimes committed by Afghan nationals often being attributed to Pakistan.

The Interior Secretary further stated that the data of over 500,000 Afghan nationals was extracted through NADRA, and that the government has now digitally collected records of 180 to 200 million Pakistani citizens.

It is worth mentioning that the man who launched firing attack on the national guards was also found out to be an Afghan national.

Denmark and Russia have already warned the world about the threats of the militancy by the Taliban regime.

Some 20 European countries have already demanded the evacuation of the Afghan nationals from their territory.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan has had a clear stance about the Afghan nationals residing illegally in Pakistan.

Pakistan aims a peaceful and early repatriation of all such Afghan nationals who have been residing in Pakistan for the past five decades.

Such people are advised to go back to their country now and play their role for the development and the stability of Afghanistan.

Pakistan has to keep the matters of law-and-order and national security in KP and Balochistan in view.

Once the Afghan national return to their country, Pakistan will look forward to carry out the development infrastructure, employment, health and education in the remote areas of KP and Balochistan.
Ironically, despite Pakistan’ hospitality, the Afghan nationals have been involved in the acts of militancy, smuggling, drugs-supply, land-grabbing and other serious crimes causing threats to the law-and-order and the national security.

Furthermore, instead of acknowledging Pakistan’s sacrifice of decades, the Afghan government has been backing and supporting the Indian-sponsored militancy in the KP and Balochistan.

The militants-attacks have been launched on the security forces, innocent civilians and the development infrastructure not only in KP and Balochistan but also in Karachi and Punjab areas.

The militant groups like TTP, BLA, Majeed Brigade, Daish and many others have been launching attacks on the Pakistani territory for the past four decades.

Thousands of innocent people have been brutally killed in those militant-attacks. Such militants moved backed and supported by Afghanistan are not a fair return of Pakistan’s sacrifices and goodwill.
