One person killed, many injured in a blast in Washak

QUETTA: A bomb exploded in the Washak area of Balochistan, which caused death to one person and injuring many others.

The incident took place in the area of Washak where a bomb exploded in a crowdy place.

One person died on the spot and many other sustained serious injuries.

The police team arrived on the spot of blast and shifted the body and the injured people to the hospital and cordoned off the area.

The evidences of the blast are being collected.

It is worth mentioning that the Fitna al Hindustan militants carried out a blast a few days ago on the FC Headquarters in Quetta a few days ago which caused deaths to 12 people, whereas some five militants were killed by the security forces.

Pakistan maintains that India has long been involved in sponsoring terrorism and militancy inside Balochistan to destabilize the province and hinder Pakistan’s progress, particularly projects related to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

According to Islamabad’s narrative, Indian intelligence agency RAW actively funds, trains, and equips militant organizations such as the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), which have carried out suicide bombings, targeted killings, and attacks on security forces and civilians.

Pakistani officials frequently cite the arrest of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav in 2016 as strong evidence of India’s direct interference in Balochistan.

The government and military leadership argue that these Indian-backed elements aim to create chaos, disrupt peace, and damage Pakistan’s international image.

Over the years, several statements by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) and the Foreign Office have accused India of orchestrating deadly attacks through proxies based in Afghanistan and Iran.

Pakistan asserts that despite these efforts, the resolve of its armed forces and people has remained unshaken, and security operations have significantly reduced Indian-sponsored terrorism.
