JAFFARABAD: The revenue meeting was convened under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Jaffarabad, Mr. Khalid Khan, to review the progress of agricultural dues, including Ushr, Abiana, and other related recoveries.
The session was attended by all officers and staff of the district revenue department. During the meeting, the revenue officials presented their monthly progress reports, outlining in detail the current status of recoveries.
The reports which mentioned the progress made in the collection of agricultural dues, with particular focus on areas requiring further attention to meet targets.
Furthermore, the Deputy Commissioner Khalid Khan, while addressing the participants, focused on the fact that the collection of agricultural dues must be ensured without exception.
He made it clear that any negligence or laxity in this regard would not be tolerated. The Deputy Commissioner urged officers and staff to perform their responsibilities with commitment, accountability, and a strong sense of duty in order to meet the financial needs of the agricultural sector.
In this sense, he mentioned the importance of timely recoveries, Khan stressed that the collection of Ushr, Abiana, and other agricultural dues plays a vital role in supporting the government’s administrative and developmental schemes.
He added that ensuring these collections not only strengthens the revenue system but also contributes to the overall progress and welfare of the district.
Moreover, the Deputy Commissioner further directed all relevant authorities to maintain complete transparency and honesty in the recovery process.
He underlined that public welfare depends on the sincerity with which officials discharge their duties, and therefore, they must demonstrate fairness and dedication in all revenue-related matters.
Meanwhile, Khan also reminded the personnel that efficient revenue collection is crucial for maintaining the pace of development projects and addressing the community’s needs.
He encouraged the revenue staff to adopt a proactive approach, ensuring that every due amount is collected in accordance with government regulations.
