Turbat Teaching Hospital achieves new milestone with complex Thyroidectomy

TURBAT: In a significant medical achievement, Makran Medical College and Turbat Teaching Hospital have successfully performed a second major thyroidectomy surgery within a month. This milestone highlights the growing surgical capabilities of the hospital.

The complex operation was led by the hospital’s expert surgical team, including Assistant Professor Dr. Sahaq Rafique and Assistant Professor Dr. Nazia Naseer from the Department of Surgery, with professional support from the anesthesia team.

Principal Dr. Afzal Khaliq and Medical Superintendent Dr. Waheed Baloch hailed the success as a historic milestone. They stated that this achievement proves Turbat Teaching Hospital is becoming a trusted medical center for the region, allowing patients to receive major surgeries locally without traveling to distant cities.
