Quetta: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has identified two of the militants involved in the Frontier Constabulary (FC) Headquarters attack in Model Town.
According to CTD sources, the terrorists were identified by NADRA through fingerprint verification—one belonging to Meri Adda and the other to Chaghi.
The remains of other suicide attackers killed in the incident have been sent to Punjab for forensic examination.
Earlier, CTD had registered a case against the unidentified terrorists under the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 and other relevant provisions of the law.
Security sources confirmed that on the morning of September 30, 2025, a suicide bomber attempted to target the FC Headquarters by driving an explosives-laden Suzuki van near Pishin Stop, Model Town, on Hali Road.
As the vehicle approached the security perimeter, security forces responded swiftly and opened fire.
During the intense exchange, five terrorists, including the suicide bomber, were killed—one of them shot dead before detonating the explosives.
However, the tragic incident claimed the lives of 12 innocent civilians and left 35 others injured.
It is worth mentioning that the militant camps of such suicide bombers are rooted in Afghanistan undoubtedly trained and funded by Indian intelligence agency RAW.
India has been backing militants’ groups like Majeed Brigade, BLA and TTP for the past many decades.
United States had declared the two militant groups, Majeed Brigade and BLA and global terrorist groups.
The said groups were already declared as global terror by the United Kingdom.
Majeed Brigade is responsible for carrying out suicide attacks targeting the security forces, innocent civilians and the development infrastructure.
In another shocking revelation, it was disclosed that Majeed Brigade prepares women of young ages to launch such attacks aiming provocation, unrest and militancy in Balochistan.
