Peshwar: An IED exploded in Peshawar killing a policeman and injuring four others.
According to a KP news updates, an IED blast targeted a police van in Peshawar.
The incident took place on the Kohat Road, Garhi Qamar Din Chowk in Peshawar when a police van was struck with an IED installed on the roadside.
The IED exploded with a blast, causing death to a policeman and injuring four other personnel.
The body of the martyred policeman and the injured personnel were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar.
The security teams immediately arrived at the spot of the incident and cordoned off the area.
The necessary evidences of the blast are being collected. One of the four policemen sustaining injuries is in critical condition.
