Fitna Al Hindustan executes its own cameraman over espionage charges

BLA photogarpher Abdul Sattar executed over esponage charges

QUETTA: A key member of the militant propaganda network “Fitan Al Hindustan,” a young man named Abdul Sattar, was killed by the very terrorist group he worked for after being accused of being a double agent.

Abdul Sattar, a relative of slain BLA commanders Munir Abdullah and Zahid Baloch, was a core part of the group’s media production team. His role as cameraman  and creating social media content to promote the BLA’s narrative.

According to reports, he was also involved in profiling Punjabi individuals in Balochistan and played a direct role in facilitating the murder of seven Punjabi barbers in Gwadar.

His activities eventually drew the attention of intelligence agencies. The sources he used to send content to the BLA were hacked. This intelligence breakthrough led security forces to identify and destroy several BLA hideouts based on the locations visible in Sattar’s photographs.

Confused by the security breaches, the BLA’s own intelligence wing launched an internal investigation. They detained Abdul Sattar, tortured him for months, and interrogated him. Concluding he was a double agent, they executed him.

In a final act of propaganda, the BLA then handed his body over to its political affiliates to create a false narrative around his death.
