QUETTA: A senior police official has stated that anti-national elements are actively trying to disrupt peace and sabotage the situation in Balochistan.
Additional IGP and Commandant of the Balochistan Constabulary, Agha Muhammad Yousaf, made these remarks during a meeting at the BC Headquarters. He praised his force’s bravery in recently repelling a major attack by over 40 attackers in the Sherani area, which he said saved lives, property, and prevented a major disaster.
To strengthen the force against future threats, Yousaf announced several new measures. He ordered that all zonal commanders conduct anti-riot and operational training courses for their soldiers. He also instructed them to report any shortages of anti-riot equipment so they can be provided.
