MNA Jamal Shah calls lift on gas connection ban a "welcome decision"

ISLAMABAD: Jamal Shah Kakar, the General Secretary of PML-N Balochistan and a Member of the National Assembly, has praised the federal government’s decision to lift the ban on new gas connections.

He called the move, ordered by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, a “welcome and people-friendly decision.” Kakar stated that this action demonstrates the government’s commitment to solving public problems and providing relief.

He explained that lifting the ban will directly benefit domestic consumers and small businesses across the country, including Balochistan, by solving a long-standing issue. Kakar emphasized that gas is a basic necessity and this step is a positive move towards fulfilling the government’s promises to the people.

While valuing this decision, he also expressed hope that the government will pay the same level of attention to other issues to provide further relief to the people of Balochistan.
