BANNU: The video emerging from the recent terrorist attack on Frontier Constabulary (FC) Lines in Bannu has brought to light the extraordinary courage of Pakistan Army officer, Major Adnan, who got martyrdom tonight.
In this regard, the footage, widely shared on social media, shows Major Adnan rushing to protect his injured comrade, Major Saad, during an intense exchange of fire with militants belonging to the India-backed Fitna-al-Khwarij group.
Despite being critically wounded, Major Adnan positioned himself between his colleague and the attackers, ensuring that Major Saad received cover while reinforcements countered the assault.
The attack began when militants rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the FC compound, triggering a fierce gun battle that lasted nearly 10 hours.
Furthermore, the witnesses from within the compound described the intensity of the clash, noting how officers and troops fought back valiantly despite sustained fire and explosions. It was during these critical moments that Major Adnan’s act of bravery stood out.
In addition, a hospital video later showed the wounded Major Adnan inquiring about Major Saad’s condition, reflecting his constant sense of duty and brotherhood.
The words, which are spoken in his final moments, have since resonated deeply across the country, inspiring widespread tributes from citizens, and veterans.
