QUETTA: The Balochistan Police announced a series of senior-level transfers and postings as part of its ongoing administrative restructuring to increase efficiency and public service delivery across the province. In this sense, Balochistan Police Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Rakhshan Division, Wazir Khan Nasir, has been appointed as DIG Motorway Police.
In addition, DIG Motorway Police Abdul Hai Baloch has been posted as DIG Rakhshan Division. The newly appointed officers have been directed to assume their respective charges with immediate effect.
Furthermore, police sources mentioned the fact that the decisions were made in line with administrative requirements and the need to enhance coordination within the police framework.
Wazir Khan Nasir, known as a seasoned and experienced officer, will bring his expertise to the Motorway Police, where his role will focus on improving highway security and streamlining the traffic management system.
On the other hand, Abdul Hai Baloch will assume charge of the Rakhshan Division, one of the most important and sensitive regions in Balochistan. The Balochistan Police also appealed to the public for continued cooperation with the law enforcement agencies.

The transfers, according to the police leadership, form part of a long-term strategy to reinforce security measures across Balochistan and address evolving challenges in law enforcement.
