BOLAN: As many as 16 militants affiliated with Fitna-e-Hindustan were killed in an intelligence-based operation carried out by security forces in the mountainous areas of Bolan, Balochistan.
Security sources claimed that several militant hideouts were also destroyed during the operation, which was launched on the basis of credible intelligence reports.
Security forces also recovered a large cache of modern weapons and explosive material from the possession of the militants. Initial investigations suggest that the recovered arms were intended for large-scale terrorist attacks.
Following the successful operation, a comprehensive search operation has been intensified in the surrounding areas to ensure the complete neutralization of any remaining threats.

Security officials have confirmed that further operations may continue based on developing intelligence inputs, as efforts to eliminate terrorist elements from the region are ongoing.
