ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to increase the compensation package for the martyrs of Civil Armed Forces by up to 233%.
According to report published by Dawn News, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has given approval for the summary to be presented before the federal cabinet for formal ratification. Once approved, the minimum compensation amount under the security-related package will rise from the current Rs. 3 million to Rs. 10 million, while the maximum amount will double from Rs. 10 million to Rs. 20 million.
The enhanced compensation will apply to all personnel of the Civil Armed Forces, which include Punjab Rangers, Sindh Rangers, Frontier Corps North Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Frontier Corps South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Frontier Corps North Balochistan, Frontier Corps South Balochistan, Pakistan Coast Guards, Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts, Federal Constabulary.

These forces play a critical role in internal security, border control, and counter-terrorism operations across the country.
