Minister Zahoor Buledi: No compromise on construction quality of Shaheed Ghulam Farooq Memorial Hospital

TURBAT: Balochistan Minister for Planning and Development, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi has emphasized the Shaheed Ghulam Farooq Memorial Hospital’s critical importance in providing quality healthcare to the people of Buleda, adding that no compromise will be made on construction standards.

Minister Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi chaired an important meeting regarding the ongoing construction of Shaheed Ghulam Farooq Memorial Hospital in Tehsil Buleda. The meeting was conducted via video link simultaneously at the Commissioner Makran’s Office in Turbat and the P&D Minister’s Office in Quetta.

From Quetta, key officials including Provincial Secretary Health Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, Special Secretary Health Shehak Baloch, Secretary Finance Imran Zarkoon, Additional Secretary Health Abdul Razzaq Sasoli, and CEO of the hospital Dr. Raheem Buledi participated online.

In Turbat, participants included Commissioner Makran Qadir Bakhsh Pirkani, Deputy Commissioner Kech Bashir Ahmed Baloch, Principal of Makran Medical College Dr. Afzal Khaliq, DHO Kech Dr. Abdul Rauf Baloch, Medical Superintendent of Teaching Hospital Turbat Dr. Waheed Buledi, Principal of Nursing College Turbat Mehrunnisa, and Project Director Buleda City Project Bahram Gichki.

Minister Zahoor Buledi received a detailed briefing on the construction progress and discussed the technical aspects of the project with relevant authorities. construction standards.

He stated that the timely and high-standard completion of the hospital is imperative, and once finished, residents of Tehsil Buleda will have access to modern and essential health facilities at their doorstep, eliminating the need to travel to Turbat for treatment.

During the meeting, the minister also held consultations on upgrading the Rural Health Center in Menaz, Buleda, as an interim step.

Earlier, Project Director Bahram Gichki provided a comprehensive update on the project’s progress, informing that the 50-bed hospital is being built at a cost of Rs 1.5 billion in Saurap, Tehsil Buleda. The project is expected to be completed by mid-next year, after which the hospital will serve as a local hub for quality healthcare services.
