PANJGUR: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) Wi-Fi internet service has finally been restored after a 22-day outage in Panjgur district of Balochistan.
According to details, the disruption, which began earlier in August, was caused by damage to the fiber optic cable between Panjgur and Hoshap.
The restoration work was led by PTCL officer Sabir Ali Gichki and his team, to locate and repair the damaged fiber cable. As of this evening, internet connectivity has been reinstated across multiple PTCL exchanges in the Panjgur district.
Despite the welcome return of PTCL’s broadband services, mobile data services remain suspended in the region, continuing to affect many users who rely on cellular networks for internet access.
