QUETTA: A Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officer was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Pishin district of Balochistan.
According to reports, armed motorcycle-riding suspects opened fire near Bacha Khan Chowk in Quetta, resulting in the death of a CTD Sub-Inspector. The deceased officer was identified as Inyat ullah.
The attacker managed to escape from the scene after committing the crime.
Soon after the incident, Police reached the sport and cordoned off the area, and launched a search operation to arrest the suspects involved in the attack.
Police shifted the deceased body to the hospital for necessary procedures and will be handed over to his family thereafter.
