PANJGUR: Unknown gunmen stormed a house in the Sordo area of Panjgur late Monday and opened indiscriminate fire, killing four people, including a father and his sons, and injuring another.
According to police, the deceased have been identified as Ghulam Sarwar, son of Muhammad Noor, and his two sons, Islam and Nizam. The fourth one identified as Habibullah, son of Shah Muhammad, a resident of Grisha, Khuzdar.
Police said the assailants managed to flee the scene after the attack. Law enforcement personnel reached the site soon after the incident and shifted the dead bodies to the Pajngur hospital for lego-medical formalities. Police also launched an investigation into the matter.
The motive behind the deadly assault has not yet been determined. Police have begun efforts to trace and arrest the perpetrators.
