BUNER: Inspector General Frontier Corps (IGFC) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North), Major General Rao Imran Sartaj visited the flood-affected areas of Buner to review the ongoing relief and rescue operations being carried out by the Pakistan Army.
In this sense, Army teams are actively engaged in assisting local authorities by providing relief to families affected by heavy rains and flash floods.
The teams have been using helicopters to deliver essential rations to remote and cut-off areas where ground access has been severely hampered due to damaged roads and infrastructure. In such a scenario, the Army has also been conducting rescue missions to shift stranded individuals from flood-hit villages to safer locations.
Meanwhile, Major General Sartaj met with the affected people and assured them that the Pakistan Army stood by them in this hour of difficulty.

The floods in Buner have caused tragic challenges for local communities, with widespread damage reported to homes, agricultural lands, and infrastructure.
