Rain forecasted in many parts of Balochistan tomorrow

QUETTA: The meteorology department has forecasted rain with winds in the isolated parts of some areas.

According to the report by Meteorology Department of Balochistan, mostly hot and humid temperature is expected in most parts of province.

However, rain-wind / thunderstorm may occur at isolated places in Zhob, Awaran, Khuzdar, Musakhel, Barkhan, Kohlu, Rakhni, Loralai, Ziarat, Harnai, Kalat, Panjgur, Sibbi, Dera Bugti, Naseerabad, Lasbella.

Whereas, partly cloudy weather is expected in Quetta, Surab, Mastung, Washuk and including its surrounding areas.

It rained heavily in Kalat and surrounding areas on Thursday which brought a sigh of relief for the locals after an extremely hot and humid temperature.

It is worth mentioning that heavy rains hit many areas of KP, AJK and GB.

More than 200 people died in just 24 hours after heavy-rains, floods and cloud burst.

The KP government’s helicopter was also crashed during the rescue services which caused five deaths including two pilots.

The prime minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives and advised Chairman NDMA to provide the KP government with all the logistic and administrative support.

Meanwhile the KP government has announced a state of emergency in the province and has declared mourning for one day over the massive natural hazard and the loss of lives.
