QUETTA: In the case of the murder of a man and a woman in the Sanjdi Degari area near Quetta, the court has rejected the bail plea of tribal leader Sardar Sherbaz Satakzai, accused of involvement in the incident, while granting bail to Gul Bibi, the mother of the slain woman.
On Monday, the bail applications of both Sardar Sherbaz Satakzai and Gul Bibi, mother of the deceased Bano Bibi, were heard in the court of Additional Sessions Judge-10.
After hearing the arguments, the court dismissed Sardar Sherbaz’s bail application and approved Gul Bibi’s, ordering her release.
The Serious Crime Investigation Wing had already submitted the challan of the Degari case in court. Both Sherbaz and Gul Bibi had earlier filed bail applications before Additional Sessions Judge-10. It is worth mentioning that the incident happened in June when a man and woman were brutally shot-dead by the tribal notables on the names of honour.
